22 Oct-17 9:00 AM Ft. Desoto via Tierra Verde Ball Field
Meet in the Tierra Verde Ball field parking lot. Take Interstate 275 to south St. Petersburg and the Pinellas Bayway exit. Pass through toll booth ($0.75) and continue on over two bridges and take the Tierra Verde road heading south which is Pinellas Bayway S (Hwy 679). Keep going through Tierra Verde to 1420 Pinellas Bayway S. This is the parking lot for the Ball Field. The Ball Field sign says, "Tierra Verde Community Association Complex". The Ball Field parking lot is open from sunrise to sunset. Restrooms and a drinking fountain are provided.  Click here for a map and scroll down for the map of Tierra Verde. We will do our old East Beach skate/bicycle route but start from the north end and avoid the new $5 parking fee for Ft. Desoto.

North Shore Dr NE Downtown St. Pete
Meet in the parking lot on the NE corner of 12th Ave NE and North Shore Dr NE in downtown St. Pete. Coming from the North, take Exit 23B off I-275 to get onto I-375. Coming from the South, take Exit 23A off I-275 to get onto I-375. I-375 turns into 4th Ave N. Keep going on 4th Ave N until you run into Beach Drive. Go left (North) on Beach Drive to 12th Ave NE. Turn right (East) onto 12th Ave NE and go across North Shore Dr NE into the parking lot.  Parking is free and restrooms are available.

The Legacy Trail 
We will meet at the South end of the Legacy Trail at the Venice Train Depot. Click on Venice Train Depot Arial View. You can park at the right of the Train Depot or at the Boat Ramp Parking. From the Train Depot we can Blade/Bike North or South. Coming from St Pete you can take I-275 S and I-75 S to FL-681 to the Venice Train Depot. Best for everyone to use Google Maps to decide on their own route. Use “Venice Train Depot” as the destination address.

9:00 AM   Pink Streets via Bay Vista Park

Meet at Bay Vista Park at the junction of Pinellas Point Dr S and 4th St S (same as 7000 4th St S St. Petersburg, FL 33705). Make sure not to park in the boat parking spaces. Rest rooms are available. We will do the Pink Streets and the area just North of Bay Vista Park.

9:00 AM   Skyway Access Trail, Via Publix

Meet in the Publix parking lot at 5295 34th St. S - St. Petersburg, Fl 33711. The Skyway Trail runs from the Pinellas Trail at approximately 41st St. to the Skyway Bridge. The Trail is asphalt from the Pinellas Trail to 22nd Ave S. From 22nd Ave S it is 12 ft. wide concrete to 54th Ave S. Map The basic skate/bicycle will go from 54th Ave S North to the Pinellas Trail and back. At the North end we could also go to 34th St or Fergs. At the South end we could also go to Eckerd Collage or on to the Beach.

Keystone Rd Trail
The Keystone Rd Trail runs from the end of the Pinellas Trail to East Lake Rd which is 2 miles. To have a nice blade/bicycle we will start at the Old Train Station and go to East Lake Rd for 5.4 miles or a round trip of 10.8 miles. To add a couple more miles we can do the North Spur Trail for a total round trip of 12.8 miles. We will meet at the Old Train Station which is located at the corner of E. Lemon St. and S Safford Ave in Tarpon Springs.  Map

6:30 PM Seminole Holiday Lights Skate
2017 - Tuesday!    We will skate/bike through neighborhoods with some of the nicest holiday light displays in the area.  Meet @ 6:30 PM, Roll Out 7 PM.  There will be a PARTY at Darry's house after the skate.
